Some changes begin to show in Russian gaming
The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has expressed the attitude to gaming in the Russian Federation at the press conference that was hold on January, 31st, 2006 in the Kremlin.
The President of the Russian Federation has noted, that the problem with development of a gaming in the country really exists and that it is necessary to protect our citizens from that things happening now in sphere of gaming.
According to Putin the government of the Russian Federation together with deputies of the State Duma has been preparing some conformable proposals at a legislative level. The President has also noted, that he has his own position on this matter , but basically he agrees with main principles that are to be proposed by deputies of the State Duma and the government.
The president of the Gaming Business Association was the first who reacted on the President’s statement. According to Igor Ballo, the Association completely supports the words of the president about necessity of making an order in this sphere and consequently has developed and has directed its own bill to all instances " About activity on the organization and carrying out of gaming and bets in territory of the Russian Federation ".
Developing the project we have considered all responses of the Government of the Russian Federation and Administration of the President of the Russian Federation on bills which are in the State Duma at the moment. We have given the big attention to the matter that the bill would be up to modern world tendencies of development of gaming, corresponded to the Russian legislation and would bring the industry up to a new qualitative level of rendering services to the population. We are determined to do everything that the law will be accepted in this year and the gaming will become a full part of the Russian economy, both in financial, and in the social meaning as a result of its acceptance ", - noted Igor Ballo.
