Not all sold out
Yesterday Krasnodar region`s administration announced the results of the fifth tender on selling the right to lease land plots in Azov City gaming zone. Investors were offered 16 land plots with the area of 1.83 hectare to 3.01 hectare. Only seven of these land plots were exposed for the first time; the rest – for the second and even for the third time.
The starting rent cost is on average 150,000 rubles a year; the minimal amount of investment in construction of properties within each land plot – not less than 120 million rubles. The main condition of the tender is to complete the construction by July 1st, 2011. The previous four tenders featured a tougher term – by July 1st, 2009, the date when gambling facilities outside the four special zones will be closed.
Only six land plots with the overall area of 120,000 sqm found their investors. Krasnodar`s “Kubanneft-Project” will develop five plots, and “Royal Time” from Tatarstan – one, according to the website of the regional Department of Investments. Other lots will be exposed at a tender again, specified an official of the department.
“Kuban`s authorities are less loyal to investors than Don`s [Rostov region] officials, therefore the current tender has failed again”, said one of the investors in the gaming zone in Rostov`s part of Azov City to the “Vedomosti”.
