Draft on making fifth gaming zone near Baikal declined
The majority of the deputies of the Republic of Buryatia`s Legislative Assembly voted against making the RF`s fifth gaming zone within Buryatia.
In his speech, the initiator of the project, Vice Chairman of the Republic of Buryatia`s Government Alexander Chepik indicated that the proposed zone could be located between the two gaming zones located in Altay and Primorie regions, the distance between those two being 6 thousand km. According to the initiator of the project, making a gaming zone within Buryatia would help attracting tourists (especially from the billion-people China) and, consequently, multi-billion cash influx to the local budget.
However, the draft on making the fifth gaming zone near Baikal was declined by the deputies. No doubt, based on the “care of the citizens` moral health”.
