Olympic Casino opened its second slot machine casino in Tartu
Olympic Casino, the leading casino operator in Estonia, opened in the first minutes of 2006 a new gaming hall in Annelinna shopping centre in Tartu, having invested 11 million kroons in it.
The second Olympic Casino in Tartu is located on the first floor of Annelinna shopping centre in Kalda tee 43. The newest Olympic Casino in Estonia is called Tropicana and its interior design is based on the theme of the tropics. The 24-hours open entertainment site is spread over 204 square metres and one can try one's luck there on 38 slot machines.
Most of the slot machines installed in the hall are of the latest design, representing the best current range of slot machine manufacturers IGT and Atronic. "One should certainly highlight the five slot machines that have been linked to the novel Cash Fever jackpot-system and thereby provide the players a brilliant additional opportunity for winning," said Tarmo Kase, the managing director of Olympic Casino, in his introduction.
The opening of the new Olympic Casino is accompanied by a car-jackpot campaign. The sporty yellow Mazda RX-8 featuring as the main prize is shared by the two Tartu Olympic Casinos and it will be drawn in June this year. The tickets necessary to participate in the campaign will be distributed for certain combinations on slot machines and gaming tables, intermediate draws of the campaign will take place from January to June.

11 million kroons were invested in opening the Olympic Casino Tropicana and 12 people will be employed there. Up to now there was one Olympic Casino operating in Tartu, located in the centre of the town, in Poe 9/10. The newly opened Tropicana is a slot machine casino, but in the Poe street casino there are slot machines on the first floor and on the second floor one can also try one's hand on gaming tables. In total Olympic Casino is employing nearly 50 people in Tartu.
