The RF Council of Federation approved limitations on advertising services ancillary to gambling
The Council of Federation, at its session on Tuesday, approved amendments to Federal Law “On Advertising” which introduce limitations on advertising services ancillary to gambling.
The legislation in effect does not allow advertising of games and bets based on risk, however, these requirements may not be observed when not the very gambling facility is advertised but ancillary services – concerts, casino restaurants, entertainment centres.
“The Federal Law provides for limitations on advertising of services ancillary to games based on risk,” said the Senior Vice Chairman of the Council of Federation`s Economic Policy, Entrepreneurship and Property Committee Vladimir Gusev at the plenary session.
