Casinos Austria, an Austrian company, to enter Altay gaming zone
Casinos Austria, an Austrian company, can enter the gaming zone in Altay region, as it was reported on Thursday by Vice Governor of Altay region, Head of Economy and Investment Central Administration Mikhail Schetinin.
“The negotiations about it are almost completed. I believe this month we will sign a Memorandum of understanding with the Austrians,” said Schetinin in his speech in Cannes, at “MIPIM-2008" international exhibition of real estate.
According to him, the gaming zone in Altay region will be situated next to “Biryuzovaya Katun”, a special economic zone of the tourism and recreation type, and will be developed in close connection with it.
“The total amount of investment required for developing the gaming zone in Altay region accounts for up to 30 billion rubles,” specified Schetinin.
In Altay region, the gaming zone will be located in Smolenski district. The site area is about 60 square kilometers”.
