Gambling zone on Russky Island to become “anchor” for investors
The gambling zone expected to be organized on Russky Island is to become an “anchor” for investors. This was related by Primorye region Governor Sergey Darkin at a recent press-conference according to RIA PrimaMedia.
Sergey Darkin told journalists that although he is not keen on gambling, he supports the gambling zone project in his region, as all around the world gambling zones are being transformed into entertainment areas. The formation of the Russky Island gambling zone project is presently being reviewed in Moscow. The governor believes that the gambling zone project in Muravyinoe Bay “does not meet the specific requirements.”
“As international experience shows, the gambling business today is not just casinos and roulette tables. It is a highly developed leisure industry, including the family leisure. This is a diverse system of recreational services comprising theatres, art galleries, a public catering business, aqua parks, children`s playgrounds and circuses. The Primorye region gambling zone is to become an “anchor” drawing investment to the business foundation in the region,” said the governor.
