Tatarstan. Gaming business can settle around unfinished APP
First Vice Prime Minister of Tatarstan Government Ravil Muratov, who held a meeting in the town of Kamskiye Polyany on setting up an industrial park in the area of the unfinished atomic power plant, said that, inter alia, the Republic would try to develop and maintain gaming business there.
Six gaming arcades and casinos have been relocated to Kamskiye Polyany since the local law restricting gambling operations came into effect in Tatarstan, even before the Russian one (in Kazan and other cities of the Republic, gambling facilities were closed as long ago as in April last year).
Kamskiye Polyany can not be found among the four gaming zones determined by the federal law but Tatarstan seems to hope that some of its clauses will be revised.
