Decree on making “Azov City” gaming zone signed by Zubkov
Victor Zubkov, Prime Minister of Russia, signed a decree on making “Azov City” gaming zone within the territories of Tcherbinovski district, Krasnodar region, and Azovski district, Rostov region, as reported by the press service of the Russian government.
According to the decree, the area of the gaming zone will be over 20 million square metres.
Earlier Alexander Tkachyov, Governor of Krasnodar region, expressed an opinion that, should a gaming zone be created in the region, the gambling revenues might be increased tenfold – up to 10 billion rubles a year.
Moreover, Tkachyov stated that 28 billion rubles of investment will be involved in making infrastructure of the special gaming zone. Governor said that such a large-scale project will encourage the development of the entire Azov coast: Eysk Airport will be redeveloped, motorways and railways built, as well as a modern seaport.
