Tony Guoga Shows Generosity in Moscow
A world-famous poker player, Tony Guoga showed he does indeed have a big heart after donating his first place prize at the Moscow Millions to a Russian orphanage.
When Guoga won the bracelet and prize money for first, he immediately returned the cash to the tournament director, asking for the $205,000 to be donated to an orphanage. This isn`t the first time Tony has made the gesture either, after he made a similar gesture after winning an earlier event in Asia.
`I feel good just being in a position where I can give away money that I win in poker tourneys,` Guoga said. The Lithuanian-born, Australian-brought up pro beat a field of 53 players, all aiming to win their slice of a prize pool in excess of $500,000.
