3266 slot machines registered in Yaroslavl region
As of October 1st, 2007, 3266 slot machines and 40 gaming tables were registered in Yaroslavl region. This was reported to the IA REGNUM correspondent by Vice Governor of Yaroslavl Region Vyacheslav Blatov.
“As of January 1st, 2007, 252 slot locations and 12 casinos operated in Yaroslavl region. According to the Federal Tax Service Administration of Yaroslavl region, as of July 1st, 2007, 40 gaming tables and 3540 slot machines were registered within the area. To make their operations compliant with the requirements of the federal law, gambling facilities put registration of taxation items in order. As a result, the number of taxation items increased for 802 units as compared with the beginning of the year”, commented Vyacheslav Blatov.
He said that as of October 1st the number of gambling tax payers in Yaroslavl region was 25 legal entities, 22 of which were registered in other RF constituent territories, mainly in Moscow and Moscow region. The expected gambling tax revenues in 2007 are 292 million rubles, the plan for the year 2008 is 378.6 million rubles.
