Chita region: gambling tax increased to maximum
As “Chita.Ru” IA was informed in the press service of Chita regional parliament, the deputies unanimously passed the amendments in Law “On gambling tax” in the first reading. The amendments had been proposed by Stepan Zhiryakov, Chairman of Economic Policy Regular Committee.
The law requires setting a tax rate per gaming table in the amount of 125 000 rubles, per slot machine – 7 500 rubles, per totalizator or bookmaker cash desk – 125 000 rubles. The estimated tax profits will be 87 million rubles, 43 million of which will go to the regional budget.
As of October 1st, 3 casinos and 31 slot locations with 1 952 slot machines were operated in the region.
