Kemerovo gaming business wins a case
One of them managed to win an argument with the local State Administration of Internal Affairs in the Arbitration and return 79 slot machines seized in the course of the militia raids in August this year. This is reported by the “Commersant”. “Lemon” gaming system challenged the militia`s operations in the Arbitration – the militia had seized two lots of slot machines from two gaming clubs and taken them away for storage. But, as the gaming system`s licence had not been revoked, the court judged that all the militia`s claims were not grounded. After the judgment the company managed to return the seized slot machines. According to Gleb Vetkin, a representative of Kuzbass Gaming Operators` Association, as a result of the raids held in August this year about 300 slot machines had been seized, after which gambling facilities in the region virtually stopped working. Some Kemerovo`s gaming companies could restart their work but most of them either sold their equipment outside the region or joined the remaining large companies with good legal support.
