Georgiy Boos refused to be the head of gaming management institution
Governor of Kaliningrad region Georgiy Boos refused to be the head of the Federal Agency of gaming zones management, which was created by Ministry of economic development and trade of Russian Federation, as «Tvoy den`» magazine reported this Friday.
According to the publication, the Agency will take control over all gaming industry in Russia, which will be concentrated in 4 special zones in 2009. There are not many candidates for the position of the Agency`s Head.
Negotiations had been carried with Kaliningrad governor Georgiy Boos but he refused, as a source in the Agency informed.
Experts bind the refusal with many risks for the Head of such a department: Russian gaming business is not enthusiastic with the future to develop areas of Russian «Las-Vegases» which are difficult to access and have no infrastructure.
