Tomsk gaming business to argue with law
Tomsk region gambling operators are preparing an application to appeal against regional law ¹140 based on the excess of power with regards to defining the terms and breach of constitutional rights for the freedom of entrepreneurship activities within the one whole economic territory, according to head of the regional Gaming Business Association Vadim Trifonov.
The authorities broke principles of economic territory freedom and equality within the Russian Federation, said Trifonov. According to the data of the Association management, since July 1st, 2007, casinos and slot halls have been completely banned in 20 regions of the country, and solely slot halls – in 10 regions only.
