Gambling licences to be given for 5-year term
The Government has confirmed Regulation on licensing activities involved in gambling organization and arrangement in bookmakers` offices and totalizators outside gaming zones. The relevant statement was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov, as informed by the Government press-service today.
These activities will be licensed by Federal Tax Service. Licences will be given for 5 years. They can be prolonged according to the procedure stipulated for re-execution of the document proving the availability of the licence. Performance of licensing activities with gross breach of licensing requirements and conditions leads to the liability set forth by the RF legislation.
