Primorie Region legislators will not additionally reduce the number of gambling facilities
According to Federal Law “On state regulation of activities involved in gambling organization and arrangement” which has been partially effective since July 2007, Primorie is determined as a territory to have a gaming zone by the year 2009. “Till then, says Vice Governor of Primorie Andrey Norin, all gambling facilities which comply with the federal legislation will be operating within the region”.
The head of the Federal Tax Service administration on work with taxpayers in Primorie region Oxana Serduk said that their authority had not inspected any gambling facilities yet. Today, on July 4th, Primorie FTS administration has notified all owners of gambling facilities that the law came into effect. Now the tax authority intends “to allot some time for slot machine or casino owners to submit applications for liquidation of their business or to make their business compliant with the law”. Serduk did not specify when exactly FTS employees would start inspections of gambling facilities.
