On December 15th, the State Duma will consider the gaming business legislation
In summer of the coming year, the presidential law “On state regulation of the activities involved in gambling organization and arrangement” will come into effect.
Be reminded that the legislation was adopted in the first reading on November 15th, 2006. Today, summarizing the presidium of “Edinaya Rossia” faction, the press service of the faction informed the journalists that the document will have the second reading at the State Duma plenary session on Friday, December 15th.
The first stage of the coming legislation considerably increases the requirements for gambling facilities, then introduces the 4 gaming zones in Russia outside which gambling organization will be forbidden. Let’s note that the deputy Vladimir Medinski proposed an amendment to the second reading, determining the gaming zones by law and not by a government decree.
