Documents on setting up “Primorie” gaming zone submitted to RF Government
The package of documents on setting up the gaming zone has been submitted to the RF Government. Now the specialists are waiting for the corresponding decision to confirm the gaming zone project.
Be reminded that the Russian Government and the State Duma chose Primorie region as one of the country`s four gaming zones.
According to the regional Department of Licensing and Regulating Consumer Market Relations, the resort area of the Ussuriyski Gulf on the coast of the Muravjinaya Bay at Cherepakha Cape was designated as the location of the zone. The area of the zone is about 620 hectares, including a freshwater lake not far from the coast line. Vladivostok`s Airport is situated in the vicinity of the gaming zone. The distance from the gaming zone to the airport is 23 km, to Vladivostok – 70 km.
The project provides for building 3-5 multifunctional entertainment complexes of the international level. They will offer 5-7 thousand hotel rooms with high-level service, up to 1200 gaming tables and up to 5000 slot machines. It is planned to build a conference centre, an expo centre and a shopping and entertainment complex that will include retail outlets, bars, restaurants, a night club and a fitness centre. In addition, it is intended to accommodate recreational facilities within the gaming zone.
The implementation of the project will contribute to solving a number of tasks. They are regulation of the gaming business in the Far East, creation of modern entertainment structure of the international level, and development of Primorie`s recreational potential.
