À Gaming Business Association (ADIB) invites you to take part in release of a new book in Russia given over a legislative control of gaming business in foreign countries. Authors of the book are Evgeny Kovtun and Sergey Kovalev - publicist famous in the field of gaming business in Russia. Release of the book is mainly connected with success of the first book “Legislative control of gaming business in foreign countries” that was published in September 2006. From the Association’s part it has provided for distribution of the book among representatives of legislature and executive power. (In Presidential Administration, Government of the Russian Federation, the Federation Council, the State Duma, a Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation, a Ministry of Education of the RF, a Department of the Treasury, a Ministry of Education, Moscow City Government, coverage in some media sources and etc.) Unfortunately by the time the book was released a “destiny” of gaming business in Russia had been predetermined. After reading of the book some representatives of legislature and executive power and many representatives of gaming business have been complaining of the fact that the book wasn’t releases before.
Nowadays gaming business in Russia is in desperate straits. Admitting of a Federal law ¹ 244-FZ at the end of last year called possibility of gaming industry existence after the first of July 2009 into question. But, in our opinion, it’s too early to dot in the question of the history of gaming business. Gaming Industry of Russia still has time to get the truth about it’s business, it’s existence and development in other countries, effective methods of it’s control maintained by government without applying of practically prohibitive measures to representatives of different brunches of authority, mass media and Russian society.
Experience of legislative regulation of gaming business of more then 50 countries will be covered in the book. Release of the book is planned for the end of 2007.
